Why this happens with my life? Why am I always in trouble? Why can’t I earn more than what I do? What is missing in me? Why can’t my life be easy? – They seem like questions which strike on your mind daily. Don’t they? Well, it even happens to me. I am not an exception. However, I got into thinking “Why the questions really strike?”. The answer to it is beautifully explained by a monetarily poor yet emotionally rich and happy person – Jon Jandai
It’s the expectations, the false world that we see in front of our eyes, the imaginary visualisations we see in the movies and all those false hopes that make life tough. Blinded by the brightness of this false life, we end up building expectations from life, expectations from what we do. Expectation is not something negative that you should avoid. However, expectation is something, you should realise, they may not turn into reality. Expectations should play the role to motivate you, to give you a direction – Don’t let them drive you way of life. Life is all about living the way you feel happy and not the way others feel happy about it.
Here’s the video where in Jon explains his own life experiences and his path to happiness. I understand that it might not be practical to be Jon in your real life but the basic takeaway from the video is to live a real life, a life which makes you feel happy about yourself. Life isn’t hard, it’s actually easy. All you need to do is realise how easy life is and enjoy it the way it is.
