What’s going wrong?
Today, our lives are getting increasingly disappointing. There are numerous people today who don’t really feel happy day in day out. They tend to keep themselves happy by pleasing others never realising that they are forgetting the most important person in their life – their very self. We have been so lost in influencing others’ life that we are forgetting to spare time to make oneself happy. This video just caught my attention today and I felt like I really must raise this point to my readers.
Social Media influences making it tough
With increasing people around variety of social platforms, every person flaunting their success, feeling good about oneself is nothing but getting tough. Social media is meant to share how people fight but it’s exploited otherwise. With the peers progressing in their careers and achieving heights, you start losing your career focus, you lose your focus for life. In this manner, we ultimately stop living for oneself.
A fake life – Let’s make people happy
I am fond of observing people. I study them. I analyse their body language. There number of people living a fake life are increasing. In fact, I find myself surrounded with them. These people tend to live a life that makes others feel good about them. For instance, a person who hasn’t really travelled, talks with a group of travel enthusiasts to say how he had great trips. A very simple example but a true scenario many of them might have actually noticed. This results in a deep feeling of regret for not being able to do things that others do. You find yourself let down by every other person who is better than you. You never notice how each one might be gifted differently.
How to make life better?
The first and foremost thing you need to do right now is stop! Stop doing whatever you don’t really like. Introspect yourself. You need to find what really makes you happy. Find your real goal. Live the life the way you always wanted to.
Sounds tough, ain’t it? Yes, initially it is a tough affair. You might not be able to leave your 9 to 5 jobs immediately, you might not be able to succeed right from the first but try. Try to give your life at least 1 to 2 hours a day to make your inner soul happy. Gradually, you’ll realise what you really need is not others to be happy but to do what you really like.
Failures? Yes there might be many. However, you need to stay put. You need to focus. You need to keep persevering. Remember, the ultimate goal in life is to make that person in the mirror happy 🙂
